Closed-back because the room is shared. Two hundred and ninety grams with a suspended headband, which is the difference between wearing headphones and noticing them.
Vegetable-tanned leather pads on a bayonet mount — they twist off in a second and cost a fraction of the headphones, which is the correct way round for the part that wears out first. Detachable 3.5 mm cable on both sides.
No noise cancelling and no battery. They work when they are plugged in, and they will work in ten years.
